Sweet Sun of a Gun is an own son of the great Playgun LTE $183,538 and out of a daughter of Mr Sun O lena. Barn named "Quigley" we love his size, confirmation, bone and feet, and especially his disposition! Quigley already has an AQHA performance record in roping, and shortly after he made the trip from Oklahoma to Montana our 12 year old son rode him in a roping clinic. At the clinic he carried several riders, all at different levels and was a complete gentleman and sweetheart.  Even though Quigley arrived late in our 2024 breeding season, he successfully covered 5 of the 5 mares we put out with him.  He is currently in training with Justin Warneke to continue roping and limited Versatility Ranch Horse classes. September 2024 he entered his first VRH classes with Ranch Trail and Ranch Riding and took everything in stride. We are so excited to see how he crosses on our mares and the improvements he brings to our program. Summer 2025 Quigley will be busy with breeding season, team roping jackpots and hopefully some VRH Shows.
